The European Art Radio Online Festival aims to congregate a diversified set of sonorous artistic radio conceptions, as much as the diversified cultures of this old continent extended from the polar regions to the Mediterranean basin, and from the Portuguese coast, to the Urals, contrasting in latitude and longitude with affections and flavours, beyond all languages. By the way, the languages mark also differences, although not borders, in this European Union. Texts in its original language with parallel translation in English and Portuguese are available, in order to allow the listener to follow with all the detail the program of each country.
Several signals flowed to this Festival, in a true panel of colours and forms to follow throughout the next months, where the creativity without limits prove, concerning at least to the radio, that there is a lot for inventing, and after all, not even everything is made. The European Art Radio Online Festival is an initiative of the Goethe Institute in Lisbon and Antena 2 from RTP (Radio e Televisão de Portugal), as a form to point out the Portuguese presidency of the European Union. The invitation was made to all the countries (more than 30) members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
This way we may have, in this common platform which is the Internet, a healthy confrontation of styles, kinds and, at last, the genius of radio producers, allowing an exchange of experiences from which it may result a step forward for the investment of a constructive globalization of culture.

O Festival Europeu de Rádio Arte Online visa reunir um conjunto diversificado de concepções artísticas sonoras no plano da comunicação radiofónica, tão diversificado quanto as culturas deste velho continente que se estende das regiões polares, à bacia do Mediterrâneo, e da costa portuguesa, aos Montes Urais, contrastando em latitude e longitude com afectos e sabores para além, naturalmente da língua. Aliás, são justamente os idiomas que marcam também diferenças mas não fronteiras nesta União.
Disponibilizamos aqui os textos na sua língua original com tradução paralela em inglês e em português, para que o ouvinte possa seguir com todo o detalhe o programa de cada país. São vários os sinais que afluem a este Festival, num verdadeiro painel de cores e formas para seguir ao longo dos próximos meses, onde a criatividade sem limites prova, no que à rádio diz respeito, que há muito por inventar, e que afinal nem tudo está feito.
O Festival Europeu de Rádio Arte Online é uma iniciativa do Goethe Institut/Instituto Alemão em Lisboa e da Antena 2 da RTP (Rádio e Televisão de Portugal), como uma forma de assinalar a presidência portuguesa da União Europeia. O convite foi feito a todos os países (mais de 30) membros da União Europeia de Radiodifusão (UER).
Desta forma pretende-se também o salutar confronto, nesta plataforma comum que é a Internet, dos estilos, dos géneros, enfim da genialidade dos realizadores e produtores de rádio, permitindo uma troca de experiências da qual possa resultar mais um passo para o investimento numa globalização construtiva da cultura.
